Antietam Pool will again be offering Group, Private, and Parent/Tot lessons again in 2024.
Group Lessons – Will begin the week of June 17. Lessons run by the week and include 4 lessons (one each on Monday – Thursday). If there is bad weather, the make-up will be on Friday at the same time. Lessons are either at 10AM or 6PM (you must pick one time slot for the week). Cost per week is $50 per child of members; $60 per child of non-members. Sign-ups will begin on June 1st in the pool office. Payment is due at the time of sign-up to reserve your child’s spot. We accept cash, check, credit, or debit. We must have 4 children to run a class. Lessons offered: Level 1 – introduction to the water/face in to blow bubbles/floating/kicking/completely submerse under the water. These classes are 40 minutes in length each day; Level 2 – Stroke Development for Freestyle and Backstroke/Floating/Breathing to the side – Classes are 1 hour each day; Level 3 – Practice for Swim Test – continued stroke work/diving/endurance – These classes are 1 hour each day. We will NOT be running group lessons the week of July 1 – 4.
Private Lessons – Click on link and input your contact information and your child’s name and any information that would be helpful to us. An instructor will contact you to set up a time convenient to you both. Private lessons are 30 minutes long. Cost is $50 per lesson for members; $60 per lesson for non-members. Great for older children and adults. Payment is due at the time of the lesson. Cash, check, debit, and credit are all accepted.
Parent/Tot Classes – Adult goes in the water with the child. Ages 6 months – 3 years. Classes include water safety and how to help your child feel comfortable in the water. Lessons run by the week – Monday through Thursday (4 lessons) with Friday used as a weather make-up day if necessary. 4 Scheduled sessions – weeks of June 17, June 24, July 8, and July 15. Cost is $50 per week per child of members; $60 per week per child of non-members. Sign-ups begin on June 1st in the pool office. Payment required at the time of sign-up to reserve your child’s spot. Cash, check, debit and credit are accepted.
